You see? I was right. People never check, on anything, and never know what they are doing, ever. Everyone thinks someone else will do it. How many people do you think this had to get by before it got on air? 10? 20? As a penance, the actual Cubs mascot should have dick and balls sewn into his costume. At least for 1 season.

"Easy Glove"
Easy Glove. Easy. Your NBA is gone. I know it's too bad. In your time players were allowed to punch in the face right? According to Rick Mahorn, Bill Laimbeer kept a shiv in his shoe. Just in case he needed to cut somebody up on their way to the hoop. Boy, I miss those times.

"Nothing New"
Who takes this? My mind says Brady. My heart says Peyton. It would not surprise me if Brady wins this and takes the Patriots to the God damn Superbowl.
New England sports teams have dominated my life, and this countries sports fans lives, for the better part of the last 20 years. Believe me, it seems like the last 50. What is in the water up there?
I don't need to like New England sports, but shit, I do respect them.
PS. Peyton, if you lose this game you will bring it to your fucking grave. Grave!

Oh, I think he wants to prove something here. This guy just don't wanna win, you know. He wants to bury the Lakers, he wants to humiliate them. He wants to prove to the whole world that they was nothing but some kind of a freak the first time out.

Oh really? You mean to tell me Vin Baker and Kenny Anderson traveled to N. Korea to play in a charity basketball game for free? I don't think so. Notice how most of the players on this charity team have at one time filed for bankruptcy. Some money changed hands and I doubt "The Worm" used his own pocket money.

"Hockey Time"
Well. Well. Well. Look at this bit of news. Who would of thought this? Is Hockey finally getting the props it deserves?
Hockey is the perfect sport. It's a game that takes great hand eye coordination and toughness. It is also okay if you decide to blast another players teeth out.
They are animals! The Hockey team at my college used to purposely throw themselves down a set of long wooden stairs. We used to take bets on whether they would hurt themselves. Guess what? They never did.
Hockey players like to fight. They want to fight. Some are practicing fighting in the off season. I have seen more Hockey knockouts these past few years than all years combined. What a game! Canada, you never cease to amaze me!

A friend of mine posted this. Nothing brightens my day more than an old fashioned donnybrook. You can almost hear the hatred in every punch. And this was the 90's, so everyone was either high on crack cocaine or enjoyed unusual levels of testosterone because of steroid use. Oh the 90's.

Players from Japan are hit or miss. Some strike gold and some commit suicide, that is just how it goes. I have a good feeling about this guy though. His numbers speak for themselves. But will they hold up in the show? Maybe. Does anyone think he is going anywhere but NY or Boston? Yeah. Me either.

"Tears"
Sad day. The legendary Mae Young has passed on. I never understood how she was able to take the bumps that are mandatory for professional wrestling. I saw her get power bombed through a table once by Bubba Ray Dudley. That would break you and I in half, but she took it. My grandmother got trapped underneath a blanket once because she was too weak to lift it off. A linen sheet almost sealed her tomb. Unbelievable.

How stupid is this? You better fly The Nature Boy in. How dare you guys? You want to win don't yeah! I think Flair lives in one of the Carolinas. I'm sure his gold mansion is not to far away from the stadium. Jesus Christ he could walk to the locker room. Assuming he does not have to elbow Dusty Roads along the way. This is more arrogant athlete bullshit. Go ahead niners, be jealous of Flair. But know that none of you are fit to lace up his boots.

"Shoeless"
It's about time. I guess you shouldn't of untied Marion's shoes J.R. Apparently that was the last draw for the Knicks. Not the 34.8% shooting. Or the 11.3 points a game. Or the general lack of defense. They can live with all that, but now, you stepped over the line. The NBA does not like cheaters J.R. No professional sport does.

Um. Did anyone else know Jon Gruden had a brother? I sure the hell didn't. Especially one that has been said to be responsible for Andy Dalton's success. Either way, I'm just hoping he gets as angry as his older brother did when he walks the side line. You know the type. The Jack Nicholson "Shining" type angry. The Redrum type angry. I heard Jon Gruden used to keep an axe under the offensive lines bench. True story.

I like crazy. All types of crazy. And this right here, is crazy. I am not sure what "The Worm" is trying to accomplish, but he might want to check himself. One false move over there and he could be turned into dog food. Imagine if Kim Jong decided he did not like Rodman's voice and had him beheaded on the spot. Would America care? Would it start a war? I don't think so.
On a side note "The Worm" has a great voice! Who would have known? He must of got lessons from Madonna or maybe even Carmen Electra.

Does anyone know what Andre
Miller is accused of? Because when I read the word "exile" I think of
Napoleon Bonaparte. And as far as I know, Andre Miller is tall and
black. The exact opposite of the diminutive French Emperor.
I think Andre pulled a "Bynum". Meaning he banged the assistant coach's wife. You wanna be a coach kids?

"Wrestling Moment of the Day"
Now, if I let myself, all my posts would be about Professional Wrestling. But I will not subject you to that. I will just pick the great moments in its history. The game changing ones.
Now, this moment here, changed my life. And I think it's safe to say, judging by the amount of trash being thrown in the ring, it had an effect on a lot of other people.
Wrestling nowadays does not generate feelings like this. I think at one point the fans are so enraged that they almost storm the ring. That my friends is passion.

"White"
A funny thing happens once you face, and get decimated by Floyd Mayweather. You get exposed. People realize that you were not that great to begin with. Did you see the fight? Mayweather made Canelo look awkward and white. The beast he was made out to be faded away as soon as he threw his first awkward punch. He missed a punch so bad in that fight, he almost fell through the ropes.
Now, besides Canelo's extensive fan base, does anyone else care who he fights? I personally would like to see him fight Miguel Cotto. Now that is a fight I can get behind. But anyone shy of that, who cares?
PS: Just found out Cotto turned down the fight. Oh well.

"Hall of Fame Head"
And the Athlete of the Day Goes to......
Cooperstown, the Valhalla of overpaid dreamers carrying the torch of our collective hope, will soon lift its crusty velvet rope and let a few chosen ones in. The initial list consists of the typical 90’s legends: Glavine, Maddux, Frank Thomas and Craig Biggio. Who’s missing? Barry Bonds’…head.
No, not Bonds himself, he of the needle-injecting culture that transformed baseball as we know it, he of the penultimate record of most home runs in a single MLB season.
I mean, look at that Thing. He went from a Winston Zedmore look-a-like to a Marcellus Wallace impersonator in a matter of years. The growth alone is legendary and in my book qualifies it for Cooperstown (or at least Ripleys Believe it or Not). That thing looks like it should be wired into a mainframe and used to ward off asteroids just using it’s psychic abilities.
Barry Bonds' Head.

"Bobble Head"
Watching former great athletes fade into a life of drug and alcohol abuse is a favorite past time of mine.
I saw Tito Ortiz in Lake Havasu once. This was around the time he was Champ, before the UFC became the juggernaut it is today. And the first thing I noticed was this. Tito has a huge cranium. He is like a real life bobble head toy.
So that day in the warm Havasu sun, I realized that I could never be a fighter. My head is just not big enough. I think that to be a great Champion, you must have a giant melon. It is the only way to be successful.

"Colts 45 vs Chiefs 44"
How good was this? If this is any indication of what the rest of the playoffs will be like, football fans are in for a treat.
Poor Andy Reid. I saw the smirk on his face when he was up by 28. I saw it. He thought he had it in the bag. I love it when that happens. Defeat snatched from the mouth of victory. I am sure Reid is on suicide watch about now.
Andrew Luck, the giant toothed egg head from Stanford, showed everyone why he is the best young Quarterback in the league. You think RG3 or Cam Newton could of led a comeback like that? I don't think so.

Anyway, Tim Hardaway Jr. is the only name that rings a bell. And that is because of his dad, Tim "Mr. Crossover" Hardaway. Member of the high scoring Run TMC trio of the early nineties consisting of Hardaway, Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond.

"Bad Cheese"
You mean to tell me that the Green Bay Packers needed help from a bank to sell their remaining Wildcard Playoff tickets? What type of shit is this? Kind of unfair don't you think? Packers fans should be ashamed of themselves. I thought of all the teams in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers had the most loyal fans. What happened to all the cheese heads? Is it the economy? Is it just too damn cold? Have the Aaron Rodgers gay rumors taken their toll? Either way, a bank has given the Packers an advantage. If I were the 49ers, I would pack about 5,000 of my fans up in buses and send them to Green Bay. So when they arrive they will be all nice and cranky.

"Gladiator"
And the bell tolls for you Chris Weidman. Because Vitor Belfort would be the last human on earth I would want to fight. He is a savage. I bet he would bite your face off if he had the chance. Like some crazed "bath salt" addict.
I just don't believe Weidman has a chance. I should though since he dominated Anderson Silva twice. Vitor to me is just a different beast. There is a fire in the eyes. It just seems that he has fought lions in the Coliseum. That is how I picture Belfort. Some sort of Roman Gladiator who has been around fighting for 20 years. He is battled tested and has seen everything. Last man on earth I would want to fight, period.

"25 Greatest Knicks"
Look at how many white players are in these photos. Christ. I wonder how many of them were able to dunk in game. Thinking maybe 8%.

"Let's Go"
I like the Diaz brothers. I don't care how much they talk. Their fights are exciting and they just don't give a fuck. I know a lot of fighters say that they don't either. But none of them portray that attitude better than Nick and Nate Diaz. But this Michael Johnson character is no joke. I saw his last fight, and I tell you what, he will knock your head into the front row if you let him. Not sure why anyone would let him, I'm just saying. This will be a good one if it happens. Their styles will make for an exciting fight. This should be a five rounder.

"Six Minutes"
And the Sports Movie Scene of the Day goes to.......
"It's What Happens In Those Six Minutes" - Elmo
Vision Quest. Those words alone give me goose bumps. If you have not seen the movie, go fire up the Netflix. You wanna be great? You wanna change the world? You wanna over come the odds when everyone thinks you can't? You ever heard of Pele? It's in our nature to want to succeed, so go be great.

"Fire in Detroit"
Fire in Detroit. That sounds like the name of a rock band. I wonder how the fire started? I was stuck in Detroit last year for Christmas. The whole place smelled like urine. I mean the air your breathed smelled like urine. So, with that being said. This fire must have been started by the gangs of homeless people that run the city. This is all assumption of course.

"Peyton The Great"
Does this surprise anyone? The man is a God damn robot. He is the greatest Quarterback of all time. For years I have switched on who holds that title. Marino, Farve, Montana, Brady. Wait, fuck Tom Brady. Only because he plays in New England. New England sports get enough God damn praise. Every year one of their teams wins a championship. I am fucking tired of it.
But yeah, the greatest Quarterback of all time is Peyton Manning. Especially if he brings another title to Denver. You know what? I want to thank Eli Manning for this. I know that it bothers Peyton that Eli has more Championships. The brother he used to gives wedgies to. I bet that shit keeps him up at night.

"See Ya"
Your preference is to stay in New York? I call bullshit on this one. How much do you want to bet that Melo bolts to LA? Another big market team where he can get away with being lazy. I should not say these things. I'm a fan and had such high hopes for New York Knick Basketball. But he is bailing and I guess I can't blame him.

"No TV, No TV"
Yikes. If this is not the white flag of surrender I don't know what is. Lakers pulled from TV? Shit. I tell you what, few people care. I mentioned this once in a post before. If the Lakers are losing you don't hear a God damn peep from anyone in LA. But, if they are winning. You can't get them to shut the fuck up. So, this kind of makes me happy. Hey Steve Nash. Good job!

"Defeated"
They should stop this. It's not worth it. The kid might have some glory now. But glory is fleeting. He will end up only growing to about 5'3. Then what? I'm short so I know that lifting this heavy weight at such a young age is not worth it. Does anyone think that there is a future in weight lifting? You gonna be making the big bucks are ya? I don't think so. Being short equals less pussy. Trust me.
